EL SEGUNDO, CA — On August 19, the Los Angeles Kings announced that their 2009 Rookie Camp will get underway on September 6 at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, California. They also announced details on the opening of their 2009 training camp.

The camp will conclude with two games against rookies from the Phoenix Coyotes on Wednesday, September 9 at 6:00 PM PDT and on Thursday, September 10 at 2:00 PM.

Ticket information for these games will be available at a later date.

The Kings will have the first on-ice session of their 2009 training camp on Sunday, September 13, also at the Toyota Sports Center.
